Three  Tree Forest Adventures

At Three Tree, we hike, play, climb, and explore the great outdoors. Our forest adventures are enriched with a variety of books, field guides, and open ended art supplies. Each forest adventure is unique and special like each child. We may have a plan in mind for things to learn and do, but we follow the child’s interest, and adapt the lessons around the direction the day leads. Each child receives a unique forest adventure, full of wonder, play, and full body movement.

Our Vision and Mission:

Three Tree Forest Adventures creates authentic play based nature adventures for children of all ages.

  • Nurturing lasting relationships with Nature, and grow as stewards of our environment.

  • Learn about themselves as well as their community.

  • An inquiry based, child led, emergent, place based learning experience.

  • Giving children a chance to take manageable risks, strengthen their bodies, self confidence, foster creativity, and their curiosity.

What We Offer

  • Adventure +1

Our adventurers often enjoy having their +1 (plus one) join them in the forest. We always enjoying sharing this time together. We hike, read, craft, and making lasting memories.

  • Birthday Parties/Gatherings

Contact us for information on our event pricing and choices. We will guide your group and help assist your part with a craft.

  • In the Near Future

We are so excited to see where Three Tree goes. We have many ideas for growth. Our goal is to bring Nature and Nature play to children who may not have easy access to Nature. The possibilities are endless!

Meet Ms. Martha

Hi there, My Name is Martha. Welcome to Three Tree Forest Adventures. This has been a dream of mine for many years. I have dedicated my life to child development, education, and conservation. After decades in the classroom, I am finally ready to take this big giant enormous leap into forest school and outdoor education. When I am not hiking, or teaching, I am spending time with my two amazing sons, who are growing into kind hearted men. I’m quite proud.
I was born and raised in the Kansas City area. My mom has always nurtured my creative side and my dad shared his love for camping and nature with me. Both parents worked hard advocating for my education, and shared their love of reading and books with me. I’m always expressing myself through various art mediums.
I have a strong belief that all children have the right to connect with Nature. I want to share my love of nature with children, and families in our community. I hope that our hikes and events help foster kinships between children, families, community, and Nature.

Thank you for your time,

Martha Wilkes Wright
